Justice Rita Of the Federal High Court in Lagos, today Thursday 18th 2015, has fixed July 1st 2015 for judgment in the money laundering trial of one time Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode.

Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia adjourned the case to July 1st 2015 because the prosecuting counsel, Mr Festus Keyamo, refused to appear in court

During court session today Thursday 18th 2015, Another lawyer was presented as the prosecuting counsel, standing in place of Festus Keyamo,

But the presiding judge objected, She insisted the original prosecutor, Festus Keyamo, Should finish up with the case instead

It could be recall that, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia had on May 5 2015, fixed today June 18 2015 for judgment following adoption of final written addresses and summary arguments by lawyers to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as well as that of the accused. ( Fani Kayode )

Fani-Kayode, whose trial began in 2008 before Justice Ramat Mohammed, was arraigned by the EFCC for money laundering which amount to N100 million while he was the Minister of Culture and Tourism and subsequently, Aviation Minister.

What's happening? Has Fani-Kayode re-joined APC? I hope he doesn't tow the line of Timpre Sylva. He should remain in the side of the masses and criticise the government of the day. The government of the Daura President grin

Meanwhile, I must say that Keyamo is losing steam. He's no longer the activist we used to know him for. Perhaps it's because he's now partisan. Too bad sad.
