Greetings.

I am in Need of a Generator capable of powering the following:

10 PCs
1 small Laser Printer
6 TVs and
3 ceiling fans
2 OX standing fans and
1 1.5hp Window Unit Air conditioner.


Someone suggested the TEC 5.5KVA petrol generator. I would like your opinions on this brand (TEC) and what what Generator Rating (Power) would work well for the above application. Also, Please let me know if anyone feels there are better options available.

On Tec generators, I am also interested in knowing more about it's reliable. I have actually been to one of their shops for inquiry. The price is Ok. but am yet to get in touch with someone who has used it before to its reliability and efficiency.

I suggest you go for an inverter. Its okay and effective. A 10kv inverter will do for all you have mentioned. If you have enough money, you better go for the solar type. Which will be costing close 2 N300,000. 00 you can call me on 08080504184. I build inverters
