Pls my dear President, President Muhammadu Buhari, i want to use this medium to advice you not to sell the 9 presidential aircrafts as you planned, rather convert them to Nigerian Airways. It is a shame for NigerIan to be patronizing foreign airlines when they are traveling outside the country or within the country. This will create jobs opportunities, revenue for your government and also it will enhance our national image globally 13 Likes 1 Share |

If it's gonna be managed profitably and sustained, then it's a welcome idea. It wld b a plus to the administration of PMB. |

barcanista: You are as clueless as the OP. The jets in the presidential fleet are not built for commercial purpose. They can't be used in the commercial sense that the OP meant. Beside, if it was such a great idea, why dint your almighty GEJ adopt the idea through out the five wasteful years he spent in Aso Rock? 48 Likes 2 Shares |

It's a private jet and can't be converted to a commercial carrier. Jets have to go, meanwhile, Mr Aliko is somewhere negotiating the price. ItzWell 5 Likes |

They cant be coverted to nigerian airways they are small jets with 12 tp 18 person instead we can use the fund from sale as seed investment for nigeria airway where federal govt will own 45 percent 55 percent private that is if it a vaible venture or import dailysis machines in thousand and give to teaching hospitals 10 Likes |

Planes that have master bedrooms is what should be turned to commercial airline. Let's critically analyze stuff before giving "suggestions" abeg. If those planes are converted for commercial use, they'll still be running a loss because they were built for luxury not commercial. How many customers will they have? Govt will still have to put up some money to fund maintenance of the planes because it won't be profitable 8 Likes |

Convert private jets to commercial planes? You didn't think well on that......I would say sell them and keep three. Then add the money realized into acquiring new aircrafts for Nigerian airways 3 Likes |

ProfessorPeter:How many Nigerians will be able to fly in any of those planes if they are used for commercial purpose. The jets are presidential just like limousine. At best, they can only be put on hire which is not ecomically and commercially viable. If you spend 50 million naira to maintain each this month and nobody hires it next month, won' that be penny wise pound f00lish? God bless the President. 6 Likes |
