You should get BVN from one bank and take the number to other banks to link it with your accounts there

I was at access bank, I even explained to the lady that I have gotten one before. She insisted on me going thru d process and getting their BVN. I bet some of those bankers don't even know what the BVN is for.

Remove the first picture. It contains your PAN. Someone can use it to commit online fraud. They will just buy up all of Konga and Jumia, buy enough credit and leave your account empty. Don't say you were not warned.

Bank verificatn or whatever they call it would never get close,it is going to be continuous excerse,if it get close what happen to new customers,account and yet to attained the of opening bank account..

It might not close for new accounts but restrictions will be placed on existing accounts. You might not be able to do some or all transactions until you get enrolled.

U need a PVN for any transaction with ur account, and d PVN covers all ur accounts. Once u get it from a bank, u dont need to apply to ur other banks agn. Simple.

the bvn issue is just another means to disturb people. why is it that we will always have one policy to bring up. thieves know themselves (politicians) why disturbing the labourers (masses). sometimes in this country we have to go against some of their policies or else dem go say make we come collect mark of the beast by force

They have all gone to register for their bvn. Cos no bvn, no way to withdraw the tithe and offering you dropped for them. You better wake up to reality. Bvn is our own ssn

You are getting the whole BVN registration idea wrong, bro. I will advise that you make haste and obtain your BVN because it will close soon. As for new account openers, account opening forms will now come with BVN features where, as you are filling the account opening form, your biometric details will be collected at once to avoid any BVN capture at a later date. It's your social security number and it has come to stay!

My annoyance with this new BVN is that I get sick of banks and other institutions asking for details ever 3 years or thereabout. A few years ago, we were told to come for KYC - they think didn't of BVN then. 2 yrs later, we were asked to get NUBAN - again BVN was not in their agenda. Not minding the fact that we were forced to give our biodata to telecoms, driving license, national ID card what stops them from synchronising all the data we have given in the past and just ask people to confirm.
Only God know what will come next. For me as a last-minute-dot-com person , I will wait till 3:30pn on June 29th

Even without bvn, you will not be attend to at the counter.

They will extend the date. If not, withdraw your money via atm and open another account and they will take your biometrics for bvn. @ the end of the day they will still tell you to continue the old acct.

CBN should have directed the banks to share the info and bio data of an individual with multiple accounts in different banks to save time rather than people moving from one bank to another dropping bio data. They can't spend money to build a simple software that will interface all the banks.
