First Lady Wife of The President Aisha Buhari is serving us total slayage in her new official portrait as Wife of The President. You may recall that Mrs. Buhari has insisted on not being referred to as First Lady but rather – Wife of The President. [READ HERE IF YOU MISSED IT]


On May 29 shortly after the inauguration of Muhammadu Buhari as President, Mrs. Buhari sat for photographer George Okoro and the fab portrait immediately went viral not just because of Mrs. Buhari’s stunning beauty but the alleged Cartier Baignoire Folle 18-Carat White Gold Diamond Ladies Watch she was rocking in the portrait.

The original version of the luxury timepiece is said to cost $52,000 roughly N10 Million and this triggered major outrage from some Nigerians, as the newly elected president had projected a modest background as a farmer with 150 cows while on the campaign trail.

Some supporters claimed the watch was a knock off costing $129. But regardless it was seen as something of a PR gaffe.

So it’s not surprising to see that in her new official portrait also by George Okoro & released today, the beautiful wife of the President is looking more modest, with just a pair of earrings and no alleged N10 Million Naira watch in site.
