Why are the members of the legislature elected? and the members of the other two arms of government appointed?

This constitutes to mediocrity, injustice, and "election"/selection of thieves, hoodlums, touts, murderers, selfish, and power hungry
people into government offices.

This why we see somebody who has spent years in nollywood toying with ladies boobs and booties all of a sudden becomes a
legislature. No atom of merit, experience or knowledge whatsoever.

Our government and sensitive offices have been turned to banking industry.

For Executive arm, a good president hand picks his good cabinet members.
For the Judiciary, until you attain certain position or qualification, you cannot become what you want to become.

Why can't we appoint good people in our midst to go and represent us in the National and state Assemblies?
and not by Nigerian election of touts.
