Sant1m: You can continue to deceive yourself but as it is today, South West is back to opposition in national politics courtesy of Tinubu. The South South have been political allies of the North since time immemorial. They are showing that realignment lately to spite the treacherous treatment meted out to Jonathan by the South West (except Ekiti). It's going to be another long political wilderness for Tinubu in years to come. It's a game of PVCs now. These people you mentioned don't really give any f..k about your postulations. Defeat them at the polls and they will wait for you at one corner to deal with you. Assist them to office and they will still treat your Bleep-up when the time comes. That's how they roll. They are your masters in the game. By the way people don't put anything to heart in politics like you are doing now (you are almost not able to eat because of Senate presidency). 3 Likes |

omonnakoda: You have said it all. Tinubu exploited the opportunity of GEJ's misuse by the Igbos to good advantage. Tinubu is overrated, and frankly we should stop this deification of a mere mortal. GEJ lost because the Igbos used him to marginalise the Yorubas, and the Yorubas fought back by voting for the Fulanis. The move of the Igbo and the countermove by the Yoruba ensured the return to power of the imperial Fulani and the re-subjugation of the tribes nay nations of the south of Nigeria. 1 Like |

This Op and wishful thinking. Shebi they shot themselves on the head as per 2019 because Tinubu na the determiner of the next Nigerian President ni This is one of the reason why d man keeps going down because u people glorify him beyond measure. The men you spoke of are wise politicians and are men who go ahead to get what they want and come back later to preach the "no hard feeling" message; they play smart politics without bitterness unlike Tinubu. So if you take their actions of trying to pacify all and sundry as weakness you are the joker. 2019 will come and Tinubu will Still be cornered. These men, from the current permutations, know who the determiners of 2019 are and Tinubu has just a few stakes in southwest (not even all of southwest; not all of Lagos). But for instance Buhari has d love of the north and should he not contest whoever he blesses is blessed; politicians see OBJ as a national politics rallying point. But your Tinubu is still a national politics learner So mr Op stop crying on behalf of Tinubu. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Your knowledge of Politics is very little. The fact is that in politics Loyalty is very key. For a president -most especially Nigerian president- to succeed, he needs a senate president that can be loyal, trusted and a reliable party ally. Because the nigerian politics is a "winner takes all" kind of politics. Even the president realised this too late which is the reason why he is now angry with Bukola after declaring his readiness to work with him. All this was due to the inexperience of PMB and APC at the federal level. Does a Bukola saraki have any of those traits? Someone who betrayed his own father and sister. The undeniable truth is that Bukola can betray anyone for his personal ambition and it is very dangerous for a president to rely on such person.[/qEkiti Your knowledge of Politics is Zero ..... A gargantuan political shake up is about to happen in the south west in about 6months time. Apc is going to find it very very tough and difficult remaining the dominant party in the south west. Stay tuned . |

soe: They won't need South West much in 2019. They only used South West this time to dislodge their allies. It's a divide and rule thing. They have reduced South West to nothing again politically. They've used and dumped Tinubu. Your PVC numbers are too infinitesimal. They made sure that one is sorted out when you were looking the other way. Since you didn't complain in 2015, it'll be too late to complain in 2019 |

Lushcream:.....Mr your comment is very funny and sheer display of ignorance. Let me lecture you a bit on the science of politics. 1.comparing Tinubu and Saraki head to head is like comparing life and death.they are not mates and it's a complete mismatch.you yourself that typed those rubbish above know this cos Tinubu was never a product of anybody but he personally built his political status unlike Saraki that was just a mere beneficiary of his father political legacy.where was Saraki when Tinubu was busy building his political empire?,Saraki was still in SGB embezzling their money. 2.Tinubu is not nursing any political ambition anymore except that he just wanted to build a strong party he laboured to bring to the national prominence and leave an enduring legacy unlike Saraki that's still nursing more political ambition.so you would expect their approach to be different. 3.Tinubu has been in an opposition all his life starting from military days and has weathered all the storms that came with it unlike Saraki that has never being in opposition and has always been having his romance with the ruling party.if you still have any memory left, you could have easily remember what he went through in the senate when he decamped to this same party just last year. 4.your claim that he is a godfather on his own, mention people he has been able to mentor in politics unlike Tinubu that has built leaders everwhere. 5.since you are so sure of his political sagacity, why didn't he form his own party when he left pdp instead of coming to join apc that's already gaining grounds?,at least Buhari despite his lean financial muscles, still managed to formed Cpc. 6.Is Tinubu only the decision making organ of apc?,what is the work of their nwc?.if everything falls on him, that means he is only being genius and professional. Mention one politician alive today that you can put side a side with Tinubu?.none.he was only a governor but he has been able to extend his tentacles because he has a vision.this man play a politics of compromise....give and take, that is why he's a leader. Finally boy,let simple reason prevails whenever judgement comes and not based on personal hatred. Also,I would encourage you to read more books on politics so you can be vastly informed.may God help you as you do so. 1 Like 1 Share |

Actually ,what many tinubu disciples don't know is that tinubu actually foresaw his cutting down and tried to prevent it by installing a senate president and house speaker. Tinubu demystification started immediately after the elections , south west apc would have would have been powerful if they had won the region with a winning ratio of maybe 90 to 10 or 70 30, but that wasn't the case ,the winning margings for apc in each state was low in contrast to the winning margin of apc in the north , where kano alone gave pmb 1.9million!!! The northern elders had impressed it up pmb that he should remember that it was the votes from the north that won him the seat, secondly the northern apc has 16state govs while the south west has 4 and even out of the 4 states one is very very shaky. This will makes it difficult for tinubu to dictate for apc any longer. If the tinubu faction had gotten the senate presidency and speaker ,then tinubu and the south west apc will be very relevant, but the bitter truth now is buhari NO LONGER NEEDS TINUBU. If he needs to get things done ,he will rather talk to atiku to. Pile pressure on saraki. We shouldn't forget that out of the tinubu senators ,many will start decamping to saraki side once committee are sonstituted. |

change49ja:humn... Why did this your post make front page? You didnt make any point based on research or any knowledge of what happens politically. You just wrote something that is very shallow & someone brought it to FP. On the matter you raised: I will like you to note these points. 1:- the four men you mentioned are never part of the original APC. They moved from PDP to APC. 2:- The samr scinario that threw Saraki up, threw Tambuwal up in 2011 and today he is a state governor. He was not destroyed by that singular action. Inshot that action made a hero out of him. 3:- APC just tasted a piece of their own “poison,“ so they should stop crying wolf because their is no wolf anywhere. The reason why this is making so much headline is because APC is playing opposition in their own government. They have not been able to manage success. 4:- What these men did is not just about 4 of them. It is a northern thing. The plot to sideline Tinubu is a plan hatched by northern political big wigs. The plan came into play the first time, when they made sure that votes that caame from northern states out number those from south western states. Buhari is only being sympatetic with Tinubu because of his type of person not because he loves Tinubu or because he hates what happend at the NASS. You will understand what i mean when ministerial lists comes out anytime this week or next. 5:- APC has 3 major factions which are; CPC, ACN & nPDP. Sir CPC & nPDP want to take full control of the party & soon the this two friends which are all of the north will become strong lovers just to make sure that ACN remains behind. Finally. President Buhari is a weak man, he will rule Nigeria with advices from his brothers. The hausa/fulani people. Because he trusts Fashola so much, he will also taake advice from him. Fashola & Tinubu at the moments are not as they used to be, therefore Tinubu has already been pushed to a corner. He can only use his mediaa power to fight now. |

Lushcream: I initially thought you have a little knowledge about politics but your ranting has shown you know absolutely nothing about POLITICS. Everything you just wrote up there has nothing to do with politics but a system of governance called DEMOCRACY. POLITICS has no written rule as to how it should be played or who should check mate who and balance what? All the rules of POLITICS are unwritten. POLITICS is a game with largely unwritten rules. To enjoy it, last in it, and also be relevant in the game you have to play by the rules. Some use the pirate strategy (back stabbing, betrayal) eg Saraki, Kwankwaso, Atiku, Akala, Wike, Obanikoro, Omisore. Some use the Mafia manager style (forgiveness is a sin) eg Obj. Tinubu. Some use the 40 laws of power which is the most dynamic and flexible. Eg Tinubu. Anyone using the Pirate style always end up where Pirates end and get the kind of treatment Pirates get. Pirates end up with noose on their neck at the village square. The likes of Akala, Obanikoro, Omisore of then where are they today? They are nowhere to be found because they chose to be pirates who don't respect gentleman silent rules. Most especially the rule of Loyalty to the cause. In politics: No permanent Enemy no permanent friend Your secret is your weapon Guy, I will lecture you on politics. Don't come here telling me about system of government instead of politics. 1 Like 1 Share |
