Why I Didn’t Appear Before NFF Panel – Enyeama


Super Eagles Vincent Enyeama has told the BBC that he was not officially summoned to defend his “uncomplimentary remarks” about security in Kaduna ahead of June’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.

Enyeama told the BBC that only received a letter to cautioning him about future (my comments) and to avoid a repeat of such,” he told BBC Sport.

“I respect my country and those in charge of our football, which is why I find the whole thing strange,” he said.

“I was told to apologise for my comments, which I did immediately and they told me that’s fine.”

Enyeama, don't mind all those pot-bellied men. Why must the match be played in kaduna when we have Lagos, Abuja and other places?
