D twin boeing 747 planes which are popularly called airforce 1 have a service lifespan of about 30years. D reason they always look so new is that they undergo meticulous maintenance at huge cost 2d point were when a part is faulty, it is replaced outrightly not even repaired

A nuclear blast can knock a plane out of d sky if d plane is within some proximity with d blast radius. D impact of d bomb won't b on d body of d plane but on it electrical components. No conventional plane can survive that. This is what d presidents plane is shielded 2 resist. Its electrical components can't b affected by d impact of a nuclear bomb

No plane is withstanding a direct blast from a serious nuclear explosion. The plane will have to be in midair.

The new plane is coming into service in 2023. The airforce will test it for 5 years prior to it being used by the president.
