I Did My Best For Benue, Now It's Your Turn – Suswam Tells Ortom by jaybossYBNL(m): 1:14am On Jun 28, 2015 |
Immediate past governor of Benue state, Gabriel Suswam has taken to his official page to give some insights on what he met in office when he was sworn in as the governor in 2007, he named things like debts, unpaid salaries, contractual obligations, dilapidated infrastructure and so on including what he left. He used the opportunity to dish out his advice to the new administration. “I did my best for Benue, I can only aspire to be better always and that’s what leadership entails. When I assumed office as Governor of Benue state in 2007, there were obvious lapses, there were debts, unpaid salaries, contractual obligations, dilapidated infrastructure, a weak and an under enumerated civil service etc I didn’t makes excuses, I took it head on and in a short while there were visible changes in and around every urban centre, the new Ministry of rural development and cooperatives we created made impact in the rural areas too by providing electricity to over 100 communities in the first year alone. ” “The economic crunch unfortunately caused the hardship people faced towards the end of our administration, I wasn’t happy about it but I couldn’t change it either. The task of leadership is enormous and I did my best for Benue. ” He also had a few parting shots to Governor Samuel Ortom telling him to work and quit making excuses. “The new government must move from here to the next level and they can only do that with a sustained commitment to satisfy the wishes of the Benue people not chasing frivolities or making excuses to failures or achievements of the past.” http://www.jaybossng.com/2015/06/i-did-my-best-for-benue-now-its-your.html |

You done talking? BTW; BUKA 14 This short tale comes with a sad ending for real niggas due to an act by a bleeped up nigga. Just incase, UNIBEN has Food Court and the court has BUKAs and the 14th Buka you're about to read about. Buka 14 was the real deal. It was the the epitome of a Buka that is able to satisfy hungry boys with food at a very cheap rate. It never was too classy like the others, didn't have too much of packaging that's why you'd hardly see a lady eating in there, but for me and fellows it was the only Buka with conscience. N50 beans from Buka 14 could fill one' tummy for @least 3days straight up, I can't really start writing about its 'lost glory' now but rather I want to write what I think caused the misfortune in a nutshell.
