The church in coming to fully understand many aspect of the truth as promised by Jesus when he said 'I will send you the Holy Spirit who led you into all truth makes this proclamation. This is one of the truth the church has come to know. The church owes you no explanation and you are not forced to believe. You have a church you go I believe. Stay there and stop poking into things to big for your small mind to understand. Let God judge what everyone believes. Or have you become God? When i was a catholic, a priest tried explaining that passage to mean some kind of special blessing accrued to Mary. And He said something like "blessed are those who hear the word and keep it LIKE MARY"
I almost believed Him but i knew something was wrong with his interpretation. Jesus didn't say LIKE MARY. Where did he get that from? i thought! And how Jesus swiftly responded to the woman's words, bothered me,but all these things did not deter me from continuing with catholicism until God opened my eyes and pulled me out...I prolly would have still been a catholic.

You will be blessed for this; In Gen 3: 15 God said to the serpent that he will put enmity btw the serpent nd the woman, Wen he drove Adam nd eve out of d garden, e realized the need to pardon the world and immediately promised redemption through a woman.
Ever since a woman was in search for Jesus to come and redeem the world, till immaculate Mary was noticed from birth and was used to bring anoda/second Adam into the world.

I could imagine the Joy in heaven when she accepted the offer, if she hadn't maybe by now no perfect woman would have taken the place to bring the saviour in to the world.
