It is a common practice in churches these days for worshipers to be buying one item or the other during church services. These types of activities normally takes place when the pastor or sherperd is preaching or praying. There and then, you will see the ushers and other church workers hawking such items. The item varies from church to church. While some churches believe in candle, perfume, fruits etc, some other churches make use of oil, handkerchiefs, bottled water etc. Those pastors will always urge the worshipers to make sure they buy the item before he or she pray for them. This act is rampant among Celestial churches, Cherubims & Seraphims, Pentecostal churches etc.. Is it that their prayers cannot be heard without buying such 'spiritual' items? What is the correlation or disparity between what Jesus Christ did in Matthew 21 verses 12 & 13 and things that are happening in our churches these days?
