Sometime last week, the Lagos State Govt. released a whatsapp number for residents seeking succour from anticipated flooding. I quickly latched on it & went on to raise some alarm about the possibility of us falling a victim. Initially the custodian of that whatsapp account ignored my entreaties but after trying again couple days later stating my locality, I got a snorty-like "noted" response. That was the closest we got of their attention.
I dare say we have been totally submerged due to todays downpour. Lagos Govt., which way? Why would govt. continue mislead its citizens? Change indeed!
