The suspected poltergeist appears to move tables and chairs around two different rooms as witnesses watch in horror. A terrifying video has emerged of the moment an 'evil ghost' appears to attack a hotel by throwing around furniture.

In the clip, a man is seen standing in what looks like the hotel's lobby before he inexplicably makes a run for it out of the room. Seconds later, an armchair starts to slide across the floor - with no obvious reason behind its movement.

Another CCTV clip, allegedly recorded in the same building, shows a woman stood alone in a room as she looks at her mobile phone. She turns her head abruptly a couple of times - but it is unclear what she is looking at.

But as she turns back to her phone, a chair next to the table she is leaning on suddenly moves, causing her to leap backwards in shock. Incredibly, as the woman tries to make for the exit, two large tables and several chairs are slammed against the door, blocking her escape route. Clearly terrified, the woman retreats to a corner of the room before she falls to the floor.

As she lies motionless, chairs continue to move in the background of the footage.
The footage, uploaded to the video site by Night Ghost House, caused shock among YouTube viewers.
One wrote: "That is some devastating attack," while another added: "Spooky!"
