Oloye Bisi Akande stands on NASS
I woke up this dawn to read Chief Akande's supposed letter on the NASS plight and APC sinking Empire.Though, there could be some elements of truth in the said letter, nevertheless.I'm vehemently against some logical points raising by the former Osun state helmsman, when he makes us to believe that, the Problem romancing his Party can not be unconnected with the Northern people antagonising Yoruba.Permit me to remind the pionner APC national Chairman some salient issues that eventualy gave birth to the reighing APC.
When the war to rescue power from PDP was at high tempo, and it was crystal clear that its would be a white elephant Project for a single party to do the needful.thank God to the then nPDP that eventual led some aggrieved governors and some bigwigs to party with the then newly formed APC which Chief Akande chaired.I must be very blunt here that,no single person can claim to be responsible for the emergency of PMB,and Sarakis can never see as a pushover,so for the Asiwaju of Ila to start letting the whole World believe that Northern is 'rebelionising' South west at this earlier hour of their reighing is nothing but Political ricket, though APC has been on regional Political front before, its high time they started appreciate their been in the central and knowing that Many people they accomodated to rescue power would forever be ambitious and radical, eventual see the party as theirs too.
Baba Omokeke (as we do call Akande in Osun).you speaking for all of us in the South west region is nothing but the violation of some fundamental rights of some inhabitants from the region, someone like me and those that belong to my school of thought would never give a nod to whatever you utter for us out there, not because we don't believe in your party ideology or we hate your person. But just because we have forseen these plights and national shame that your party are entertaining us with now and put cautioned, but your party as a despirado went astray.
Either we like it or not Power would still be in the North for atleast 16years,and if Nigeria is still in existence till then,we can hopefuly have a new Nigeria, when most of you would have retired in one way or the other.
