Since from the inception of Christianity there has always been a division.
In the 4th century, the Greek orthodox church separated from the Latin Roman church which later forms the
Roman Catholic Church.

The major break in Christianity is the Protestant Reformation leading to separation from Roman Catholics in 16th century.
After this,many denominations broke out from the Protestants all is due to ones interpretation of the bible(since the Bible is the most misunderstood book ever written)Forming denominations like
Lutheranism, and Calvinism,
some sects like
Jehovah's Witness,
Latter day saints(Mormon),
Christ scientists,
Quaker became popular

In the 18th century, the rise of
Evangelicalism, Fundamentalism,Liberalism, Unitarianism, and Pentecostalism emerged.

Today there are about 41,000 Denominations. You can name any Denominations below:
