Iron sharpens iron. Lets learn from each other. Here's a handful of lessons that I learnt from 2Kings chapters 1-4. Read and add yours too. -A servant of God should be able to be identified by their dressing (chapter 1:7- -If you want God to attend to you, you should persist in seeking Him (chapter 1:9-15) -God is very jealous. If He calls you His own and you disappoint Him and seek from elsewhere what you should seek from Him, He can destroy you (chapter 1:16) -Real prophets of God are never in the dark about what is going on in the world, even when no one else knows about it (chapter 2:3&5) -If you really desire God, you will get Him (chapter 2:9-14) -Get rid of your old garment first, then you may wear the new garment of the new man (chapter 2:12-13) -When the presence of God comes upon you, you will be looked up to by those who previously looked down on you (chapter 2:15-16) -God can indeed do anything, regardless of the natural/earthly laws involved. He afterall created the earth (chapter 2:19-22) -Have a big barrel of desire/ expectation, seek the Lord and He will fill the barrel to how big it is So read and add yours. |
