Your calling someone a "crook" makes you look more dumb in your approach here.. Cejay early post says lot and it doesn't mean you're more knowledgeable than him ! If prices are high as you poorly said, we wouldn't keep updating prices nor transacting .
Laying emphasis on poor customer service as experienced few years ago is tantamount to change as we know especially on goods with standard warranty as am basically known for brand new items and fast trusted supplies.we had company after sales service from goods in past like powerstarlight inverters but I reduced supplies due to adverse effects.. As I type , I have quite a number of supplied but defective Long batteries which am arranging all for warranty sake in case you ain't aware , see snapshot below.. So several of monickers you see creating spare accounts when antispam bans doesn't mean you speak of what you don't know at all as you can be sued for defamation since this account is old and highly operational with same mobile number for years counting..You haven't bought a pin but countless who don't type at all has done millions as the said Malik is briefly aware of my ethical dealings for quite a while without people even seeing me in person ... Your posts speaks more of personal biased issues and we deal daily with various clients , so no need of comparing two entities like immatured kids as the said Niyi procure items from me before you even got to know him not long ago when he started typing on Nairaland, so quit your fallacious vain advice ... I do not really know essence of your comparison as it's a global perfectly competitive market ! How many several accounts have you seen if you're really trying to make brief sense in your post ? If you've brief idea of what you're typing, you wouldn't waste much time typing epistles in vain for a no issue as customer sales services covers goods sold with warranties .. Thousands of used goods have been sold by me without you procuring ONE and no issues as it was clearly outlined "no warranty" ... You were never mandated to make purchases from me as the labour market is wide enough for all .. Do not use this avenue to display unnecessary grievance as it's totally uncalled for , clients who deal with me would tell you better ...I don't really recall what you're actually mediating for as uncountable number of clients who drove down to same location steady to test and select used items do not come here to display arrogance or keyboard strength k. I rest my case on this ! Gracias

Hello, hope your weekend was great Sir smiley .. It's really strange when one threatens one in simple tokumbo battery transaction feeling that's the best matured resort.. When obtaining decommissioned batteries, we run brief test analysis and still run same load test to some customers with doubt before procurement if they wish as it ain't by force to procure used if unsure as it's a marginal chance of LUCK ! I sold uncountable batteries tagging it "buy as it is" without threats or unnecessary stories since it comes and goes and no need to promise warranty which you can't vouch for ! I am sure you saw my conviction on coming along with above one unit the day I delivered & tested batteries to you Sir since it's a game of luck.

Sir, what you have said is correct, but I'm just wondering if you used these same words before selling to that guy calling you a crook up there....Seasoned and enlightened technical persons may know that used battery purchase can be a Russian roulette thing and thus be more thorough before making a purchase, but then if after selling and it falls really short of expectation, me thinks a partial refund or battery swap should be done....after sales service and attitude rings loud and far.

My thoughts anyway...

Edit: didn't know the issue had been replied and flogged before commenting. It's well.

Tripple hope you're cool? I intentionally created time to type and explain the deal which was clearly done on normal test ground without any atom of warranty ! The call came through after CJ procured his, vitality22 followed alongside the plaintiff after brief conclusive test on last battery seen at location. He crossed over the other side of highway in search of bank to make payments, got a gokada bike and left after all time spent for procurement. Do you also know that more than 80 fullriver batteries I sold in past was without warranty but most came from far, tested and left without Nairaland melodrama smiley.. My after sales for warranty based products are intact ! Few times I had issues with new items was on powerstar inverters but it's a direct company integral bad after sales issue but I no longer deal with the said company again if you observed from my pricelist as usual unlike past years

I'm cool...thanks for asking.

Like i said earlier, you are correct with your explanation. But then, this may just be one small bad deal to you, but to the customer it's one deal he has been planning and saving for a long time... Either way, i think you should show some more empathy towards the buyer...Agreed, no warranty but then some sort of refund should be done so he doesn't bear the loss alone.

Reason with am.

Remember ONE DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER can wreck a thriving business. Please liase with MALIX and you guys should sorte things out. Many thanks

I agree with u on this.....

Good morning Sir, ok that's same message Vitality passed across to me . I also appreciate your point of view on the issue as it would've been easily resolved if "name calling" wasn't involved .. it's insulting to me knowing am not a crook, fraud or whatever name he feels like calling me .. Going about little conflict resolution the wrong way"threats" solves nothing alas but peace talks and dialogue ! I never had any crooky intentions from onset the day we tested and supplied the battery and apc ups after brief test, reason I sold same battery 30k was due to his budget and request for 100a smaller size which my said battery seems fairly okay ... Customer care related issues is something any organization works on as a gradual process and not by calling names feeling you're spoiling ones image or business when you ain't God in anyway! My name or acronym here always been pay and get fast dedicated supplies, which we would soon be opening a standard brick & mortar office by God's promising grace , Amen!

Sir, with due respect, accepting i need to sympathise with him since am an old nairalander smiley , he needs to also be apologetic for calling me crooky names since I can't remember owing any fellow here a Kobo in any business deal over the years counting which most above 75% have never met with me in person as i type but I always deliver and will keep delivering ! Thanks

Save up and buy a new battery if you can, in order to avoid stories that touches the heart.

From the look of things, a new 100ah battery of 40k is better than a used(trial by error) 200ah battery of 20k.

Its not about buying new or used, I have used a both new and used, the new one I bought for a client didn't lasted 6month, I still bought another new , it was same, I bought used for him also, that one almost lasted a year, I have used a fairly used battery for 3yrs myself, but the new GBM I used managed a year but was dropping voltage , its OK if u say make dem buy correct new battery, to be sincere , battery pass battery for market if its about buying new, u go fear some correct new Gaston or fullriver 100ah new sold for 60-80k and also some solid brands ,compared to the 40k own wey u dey talk, a nairalander bought a new battery at computer village, It didn't last upto a month, I don't remember his username, but he complained bitterly hear, I think he bought GBM, sometimes its luck and how u use them

I wouldn't bother if I were, bought some from the US last year, and it didn't improve nothing. I only noticed it allows the battery take charge faster than normal.

The best and surest way to a healthy battery is to maintain a DOD of 50% in other words don't drain Ur battery continuously past the 50% mark and Ur battery will last u for years.

Don't bother, it can practically do nothing for old batteries, it can only work a little for new batteries it was installed from the beginning

So my advice remains that oversize Ur battery bank and don't discharge past 50% always use a voltmeter

At what voltage will you know that it's at 50%?
12.1v or 12.0?
