Hello house, I would love advice on which is best to go for in poultry farming; rearing of Broilers/Layers or rearing of Turkey. My main concern is in the area of cost, management and the birds resistance to diseases. Thanks. |

turkey is better cause it can do well in a free range system compare with broilers 1 Like |

Why not try cockerels? Although they take longer to reach maturity (5months), they have high resistance to disease, and don't even need drugs every now and then like browlers or turkeys. |

For quick return on investment do broiler cos every 3months u can market them and replenish d stock 1 Like |

Marketing of Turkey is not easy except as frozen meat and mind u any farmer that has plans on big farm expansion cannot depend on free range farming |
