Known as Papilo in Nigeria and King Kanu in South England. This Nigerian and Arsenal legend rose from poverty to conquer the world. Winning the Olympic Gold, the Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Cup, and the Premier League in the process. King Kanu played a whole season after an open heart suggery to shine for Pompay when he scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final. But what has he been doing since retirement?

Kanu has been busy since leaving the football pitch. Papilo studios is one of the things keeping him very busy. They cover all sort of events, and have a photo lab that can print all kinds of pictures in different sizes, including large format printing. They model and make all kinds of sonic sound and video good quality video production.

KANU HEART FOUNDATION

After his successful heart surgery, he decided to have a foundation known as THE KANU HEART FOUNDATION. They have sponsored many Nigerians and Africans to America, India and other parts of the world for heart surgeries. Their message reads: The Kanu Heart Foundation was established to help underprivileged African children and young adults, living with different heart ailments in Nigeria and other African countries respectively, obtain the cardiac surgical operations needed.

PAPILO FOOTBALL CLUB

Kanu runs a football club known as Papilo Fc. They dumped Gombe United out of the Federation Cup (FA Cup). They are known as the giant killers.

We are happy to say that Kanu is busy affecting lives through his foundation, his Football Club and through his capacity as a UNICEF Ambassador. He is also very busy with many things. Long live KING PAPILO!
