JAMB/FUNAAB POST JAMB UPDATE

Post UTME candidates who scored 180 and below but are interested in the State and Federal Universities Post UTME should wait after July 14 for the release of official cut off mark by Jamb.

This, he Mr Fabian Benjamin (the Public Relations Officer of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)),  disclosed in a statement that the board will at its 2015 Policy meeting on July 14 determine the cut-off marks for admission of candidates into tertiary institutions.

“The 2015 Policy Meeting which usually comes up with the cut-off point has been fixed for 14th July, 2015.

”This meeting defines the criteria for the year’s admissions into higher institutions,’’ it stated.

According to the statement, the cut-off points are usually arrived at after extensive deliberations with vice-chancellors of universities, provosts of colleges of education, rectors of polytechnics, monotechnics as well as innovative enterprise institutions and other stakeholders.

Therefore all candidates should wait till 14th July, 2015 for the official cut off mark from Jamb.
