ok i will start  One of the few african photographs in my collection. Unfortunately I have no information about photographer or country. For the date, I suppose the early 20th century. The man in the middle holds a strange object in his hand. Tribal insignia?

 picture 1This photograph was found in an an old book about Africa, where it was probably used as a bookmark. A note on the reverse says: (Besuch beim Zuluchief, neben mir Kapitän B. "S.S. Watussi"  (A visit to the Zulu chief. Next to me is Capt. B. "S.S. Watussi picture 2Traditional musical instruments of south? Africa. This 19th century albumen view was made by Barnett. Unfortunately I have no information about this photographer

~LWKMD on Bell bottoms!! They were my fav. when they made a comeback in the early 90's!!I use to wear them w/ my Platform shoes . . . .My Dada was only to quick to say with a smirk on his face " Who's wearing Kosho Now?" . . . that's what he use to call it! |

LOL exactly what my dad said except for the kosho part  . . .i love them now though, but when i was younger it was just funny seeing men wear bell bottoms. |
