You said Oba of Lagos is ceremonial. So how is he powerful? Some of the people you mentioned are not known beyond their local government. The list should be: Amanyanabor Emir of Zauzau Igwe Orizu (Nnewi) Emir of Sokoto Emir of Kano Olubadan of Ibadan Etsu of Nupe Gbomgwon Jo's Oba of Benin Atta of Igala. NB: The Agbor dude, Oba Lamidi, etc. are 2nd-Tier kings 1 Like |

Freemanan: lol .... Oshe, Aburo. Oya, Omo Sobo, Is Uvwie part of Warri If it is, does that mean there are two different kings within the same city? |
Re: Meet The 10 Most Powerful Kings In Nigeria. by Nobody: 8:57pm On Jul 13, 2015 |
scholes0:Uvwie is a LGA on it's own while Warri comprises of three LGAs... There is a General misconception tho that Warri is the whole of the various LGAs sorrounding it since it's more popular... JUST like people call Ota as Lagos now. |

Re: Meet The 10 Most Powerful Kings In Nigeria. by Nobody: 9:07pm On Jul 13, 2015 |
scholes0:No... Warri has two aborigines... Itsekiri and Urhobos... I can give you a detailed link for the historiography of Warri... If you like. |

Freemanan: The Itsekiris say the town's original name is Iwerre before it was corrupted by colonialists to 'Warri" Also, Since you say Warri has two aboriginal populations, the Itsekiri and the Urhobo, what is the stake of the Ijaws in the matter? or are they just "participating" in the fight, to benefit from the ensuing fracas? |
