rawpadgin: Not so fast. In as much as I would like her to be taken to the hospital asap, unfortunately it is not done that way. This girl was hit by a bank's vehicle, there has to be evidence and the pictures are part of the evidence. Bank officials need to come out to see what their vehicle did, people need to take pictures. This will be used to prosecute the bank when need be. I mean the bank should take responsibility of this, but without enough evidence they might try to deny it. Believe me if this happened in the USA, they won't take her to the hospital just like that. People will take pictures, nobody will touch her but they will call ambulance to come take her to the hospital. 1 Like |

Just like that, a girl that walked out with her two legs will walk home on crutches. SO heart rendering. And funny enough, the bullion van driver and police escorts will go free. No wonder my colleague keep saying he was born in the wrong country. 1 Like |

Kizmarty: Before the news got to you the girl became pregnant (rumors for you) Sad, if Nigeria was a better country she would still have her legs, too young to be damaged by a cause that's not even your fault, the bank should cater for the girl needs until she grows another leg (forever) |

What a sad incident. Wishing her a sound recovery. The government needs to clamp down on actors of these atrocities. Is there a need to drive like mad men when actually driving in an armoured and bullet-proofed vehicle.? |

This is an eye sore. There are many things which are not known to our physical eyes as it seems. our every actions should be guarded and blameless. imagine what negligence can cause? also what if this was already a done deal in another realm only waiting for an executioner in this realm? I pray for strength for this victim. |

It's because of cases of authority madness like this that I have always advocated that our leaders (if truly they are leaders, and not rulers) should ply our roads more frequently. I still maintain that it's insane for a president of Nigeria to be unable to visit Kaduna from Abuja by road, lokoja/okene by road also from Abuja. If the President insist that roads shouldn't be blocked because of his movement (after all he is ferried around in a bullet proof Mercedes S550, Mercedes oh, not Toyota or Honda!) in any state he finds himself in, esp in Abuja, bliv me, serious sanity would return to our roads. And the average Nigerian would have a vista of life, especially in the hands of uniformed men. If a state governor would obey traffic laws in and out of his domain, no body in that state would drive against traffic, or run a red light. And to add salt to this young lady's injury, the bullion van and the police escorts ain't going to be held liable. |
