Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria should as a matter of urgency look into the falsehood being carried around by media house with reference to Channels TV that broke the news about the Industrial Court in Yenegoa reinstating the sacked council chairmen in Rivers state.

That news could have led to bloodshed and destruction of properties, they should try as much as possible to get their facts right before going on Air.If we all want to work on the path of change then we all must be fair and just in all that we do which includes the media houses, I believe it is time sanctions should be given to media houses that have breached their code of conduct, we can't allow things to continue like this any longer.

Taking side as a media house should not be part of the Job description of the media house, but from the look of things Channels TV is taking side with APC from all the news and programs they present, if it does not favor APC they would not present it or talk more on it, but it favors APC it now becomes a Breaking news, we are watching them keenly and if they continue on this path of unprofessional way of working they we will campaign and see that BON withdraw their licences.

This also goes to all Media houses, not just Channels alone, they must all stand on the path of truth not falsehood, if we desire change then all we do must be fair.
