Don't know if u guys have noticed the re-ocurring theme in this current APC administration...... They always release 2nd statements to clarify their initial statements.... Seems they are yet to appreciate the fact that they are now the ruling party. Quite appalling.

Do the senate has to open/resume before PMB appoints the security chiefs? Why did he think the guy ask him to reconvene the house? He didn't know. This is just a damage control. The guy knows nothing.

Surely the best senate president Nigeria has ever had and one of the best presidents Nigeria may never have. Saraki's childish conduct on the floor & social media clearly undermine and ridicule that coveted office David Mark once occupied. Yakubu Dogara even seems to be better packaged for that office in both character & charisma.
But for Thief nubu's factor, Ahmed Lawan could have been a better choice.

This is a direct consequence of the current craze of outsourcing social media handles to aides. If you cannot run your handles yourself then stay away or let whoever your aide is tweet with his own account. Overzealous aides will always put you into trouble especially in a country where political sycophancy is a very lucrative job.

Yes. Saraki was ignorant of the provisions of section 18 of the Armed Forces Act (2004) which specifies that both houses of the NASS confirm service chief nominees before they (nominees) become substantive service chiefs.

The Act is also supported by the constitution, which gives the NASS joint responsibility on regulation of the military, with the president.
