This is one of the most pressing issues faced by android phone users, especially me as my phone's battery is dead as at the time of writing this post. Almost all android phones battery don't last up to a week without charge. Android phone users simply ignore this defect as it seems impossible to fix it. Actually, it is possible to extend the battery duration of your android phone. But first, let's analyse what causes this battery issue.


BACKGROUND APPS
These are one of the major killers of android batteries. Background apps are those apps that run in the phone's background, even when the phone is on standby. They reduce the time duration of the battery. Some examples of background apps are Google play, Whatsapp, phone themes, etc. Ever tried uninstalling some of these apps or restricting them from running? I'm sure your batteries will last longer if you did. To know which apps run in your phone's background, simply go to the apps tab in phone settings and swipe to running. You will see a full list of these background apps, even those you haven't used in a while. It's then up to you, to uninstall the app or restrict them from running in background.

Lol..You need to read Phonearena's write up on that particular app. It bug ridden, same with adobe, that's why firefox stopped it on their browser, chrome is scheduled to block it too, most of these so called battery apps are dangerous to your phone in the long run.
