Between Radio Biafra And The Nigerian Media by Nobody: 11:00pm On Jul 16, 2015 |
What is Justice? What is good? What is evil? How much is a lie worth? And what is Love? I stand to be corrected but this is what I think. Nigerians do not love each other. At least from the behaviour of the ones I've encountered. Love is the most important of all things. Call it unity if you like. Nigerians are deceptive. This is not because they are Nigerians but because they are humans. And humans advance their daily warfare holding selfishness. The only difference between Radio Biafra and a lot of media outlets in the country is method. Where one fingers the perceived enemy of the individual with rash boldness and tasks him to do him a certain justice, the other operates through an almost perfect and covert system of the Janus Principle with lies disguised as truths in a sense of neutrality. One defines the relationship and doesn't hide the self while the other polishes the hate and hides self. Emotions are powerful. The man is vulnerable when he is downtrodden because he is emotional. And a lot of Nigerians are downtrodden in a familiar sense. Media outlets like Sahara Reporters, The Nation and Radio Biafra always prey on this human weakness. And when they do, the life of the 'animal' is diminished. Logic will not work that fast. This is a necessary victory strategy but it is evil. What this media outlets do is to stimulate enough audience to be in control. With control you have power over the minds and with such power over the minds they remain under you forever. The easiest way to control is align with the emotions, give them their food and then give them your food. Every hate emitted raw in Radio Biafra has been emitted properly cooked in almost every media outlets. You can show me otherwise.. My question then is, why are people angry and pissed over this when simply this is one of the misinformation that has been going on? Or is it that in the course of propaganda, where human life is always the target, a certain means shouldn't be used? Is their any better form of evil? Fayose with help of the Sun played with Buhari's life, Kanu with Radio Biafra plays with Kumuyi's and Sahara Reporters shatter the psyche with their 'sources'. Is anyone better than the other? Between an enemy and a friend who is an enemy, who is better? Why are we acting like it is something new? Morally speaking, can their be any good brainwash technique if the goal is to control what we believe? So I ask again, what has Radio Biafra overtly done that news outlets like Sahara Reporters and The Nation have not covertly done? If nothing, why not condemn all? 9 Likes 1 Share |

Reyginus:Yorubas has no problem with any tribe in Nigeria. We' r accommodating people, we protect the igbo people in the SW and their interests, we give them Jobs, They attend our Tertiary institutions in d SW all on S.west resources. we treats them like us, now that we have seen it that some people are now taking our kindness as Cowardice and weakness . Biafra cannot be attacking Yorubas in SW on radio and Social media when millions of millions of you live there compare to hundreds of Yoruba in d S.east and the next day we start to see ur faces so that we will come hug you abi? You cannot say their land is no man's land you cannot install igwe that will have d status of our king in our land you cannot form oppositions to the host political party you dont have any political right or ambition in d SW. I laugh when i hear igboman talk say he's totally a lagosian can any Yoruba man says he's frm Enugu, Imo, Abia, Kaduna and Abuja? you cannot say you are responsible for 50%,60%, 70% of the businesses in d SW, does that means Hausa, Yorubas, Fulanis ,Edo, Ebiras are not involve in any business at all. There is god o. |

Onijagidijagan:I don't really understand. Though this is not what the thread seeks to address I will attend to it. First of all, what does it really mean for any state under a republic to accommodate citizens of the same republic but of different states? Is it not proper that the oneness of the republic superimpose all? Are there no SWesterners in other regions of the country, my friend? You only, in this sense, accommodate a person in need and not a person who does business with you. Your landlord doesn't accommodate you and this is because both of you are gaining from the relationship. You employ me because you need my services and not because you are solely interested in my good health. Their is nothing charitable in giving anyone a Job. Is there nothing like School fees in these schools. So, the claim is wrong but you can still prove to me otherwise. Help me with this question. Assuming I am a SWesterner with a SW landlord in SW would it be right for him to claim that he is a trying to help me by allowing me rent the room? Onijagidijagan:Is Radio Biafra or Biafra in tandem with the genetic make-up of every Igbo man? Or one must agree with the ideology to exist as an Igbo man? Would it be intelligent to hate a people because of the perceived sins of a fraction of them? Let me tell you friend. It is irrational to hate whoever you don't understand. The right to hate comes from understanding. So in your opinion if a SWesterner or a group utter a word of hatred against a particular tribe like the Oba of Lagos did it is rational, healthy and moral to hate the entire SW? Onijagidijagan:That's where you are getting it wrong. You should be arguing in contrary to this norm. If the country is indeed one why don't we practise the things permitted in oneness? Back to the issue. What is Radio Biafra doing different? Why would you condemn only them? 2 Likes |

If you have any objection, kindly ask your greedy elders to stop selling us your lands. Oh i forgot your Kabiyesi and Oniles cannot reject Igbo money cos they are lazy money mongers. 2 Likes |
