TOPIC: The Blood is Not Inadequate!
DATE: Friday, July 17, 2015

HIGHLIGHT: “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it” (Romans 8:24)

The concept of sin has been subject to various debates. More closely, persons in the body of Christ who have accepted Christ and washed by his blood still struggle with certain habits and certain unpleasant imaginations, it weighs them down. This I call the struggle of flesh and soul with the Spirit.

But we must understand the redemptive work of Christ, there is the part of Christ which we must accept and our part which we must work out by His grace, not to secure our salvation per se, but to remain in it by our consciousness.

Now the blood of Jesus is not inadequate. When it washes man, man is washed. He does not leave any sin anywhere, no adamic, or solomonic, or Davidic, or generational sin, salvation is absolute and total, in fact that is the direct translation of the word salvation, total redemption.

Now at salvation we receive Jesus into our heart, now heart there is spirit. For God is spirit and dwells in man’s spirit. Our spirit is our organ of expression and cohabitation with God. However, we must come into the consciousness of the redemptive work and our place in Christ by faith.

The bringing of soul and body into the consciousness of salvation is done primarily by the word, faith, and confession of the word. This is where ‘we are saved by hope’ comes to play, for although at once we do not see the full evidence of the God life in our soul and bodies we are hopeful and we have faith, that it is done.

Now this process of cleansing by the word and spiritual understanding is called sanctification and it is a process, or a per time experience, we grow in it. Now the soul is the house of our imagination, will, intellect and mind. This is why God told Joshua to meditate on the word that the word might find life in him.

Our spirit knows all things, this is why when we hear seemingly new messages, it strikes us hard and we say, “I have always knew it, I just did not know how to put it in words” Heb 2:1 admonishes us to keep the word not just in our spirit but in our consciousness, lest by our carelessness we become unconscious of the redemptive work and fall away.

Now when the soul and body ministers sin, because they have voices, we must put them under subjection. 2Corinthinas 10:5 admonishes us to put unGodly or unholy imaginations under subjection. We are spirit men. The body is only a servant of the spirit and must remain as such.

One thing praying in the spirit (tongues) does is that it transfers information from our spirit fused in the Holy Spirit, into our soul, and we call it revelation, because it is made clear to our soul and understanding. Next time we pray, we should be conscious of this reality.

SELAH: The blood is adequate, stop doubting your salvation.

The blood would have been adequate if those professing to be Christians understand why it was shed and stop using it as "bullet-proof" or a "tarpaulin", like: "Oh God cover us with the blood of Jesus!"
