I used to give money to beggars on the street, but I stopped after hearing several stories of how people gave beggars money and their private parts disappeared,and some had their destinies exchanged by the beggars using the money as point of contact, some even say they saw the beggars in their home at night,all this negative stories made me stop giving beggars money,but anytime I pass a beggar without giving anything I feel bad,my conscience pricks me..pls what's your take on these,how do u respond to beggars on the street?

its better to give the money to a charity or organization that helps beggars and homeless people

giving money to them will not solve the long-term issue, only the immediate problem

when you dash them they often misuse the money which makes their situation worse

I give them money when I have money & what they do with it, I really don't like to think about it. It probably ends up at the liquor store anyway but that's between them & their conscious.

I don't help able-bodied beggars,nigbati o ge lapa o ge lese(u no get cut hands and cut legs) why u no work ...most beggars are actually lazy..only 5% truly deserve money.. in fact some capable people have now turn begging to job.

I ask myself the same thing. And exactly who does she expect to pay up for her loser boyfriend's responsibility? I'm sorry but people like that shouldn't be allowed to have children. There should be a law against it. They don't wanna go out to find a proper job but have time to fvck with their good for nothing men. Pisses me off.

I read on the news sometime ago how a nanny from a nursery school carried students from her school to the road to pose as her own and use dem to solicit help,its a fraudulent means now for many.....so I agree with you on instituting a law to mitigate the scourge

Wow. I hope she got fired. Yeah, people are making a quick buck out of our generosity & sympathy. They probably laugh their butts off.

Really, if I ruled some country, I'd force everyone to go get a shot. We don't need any more kids being raised in poor households or by idiotic parents without sense. Enough is enough. Gone are the days where it took a village to raise a child. Now the cost of living is very high. No income should mean, no children.

I give them money or buy foods/perishable items for them. What they do with it thereafter is none of my business.
