Enugu—It was a show of shame, yesterday, in Enugu as two pastors and their loyalists engaged themselves in fisticuffs at Mount Street Parish of Assemblies of God Church, Nigeria. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/07/police-shut-enugu-church-as-pastors-supporters-engage-in-free-for-all/ 1 Like 1 Share |

That's true, for long now they have been having serious issues to the point you start asking if those behind the conflicts are really serving the almighty. It seems its for material reasons that's why they are seeking for the head of the church. To me you don't need to be the head of a well known church for you to be close to God.I pray that almighty God will intervene in this ugly matter. www. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Not until we change our mentality it will continue to go from bad to worse in our religious beliefs. I never imagined that it will come to a time in the Church when pastor and member will start a fight. Of all Churches I never thought it will be AG. But we live in interesting times it will be more challenging with time. We really need to go back to and examined where we went wrong as a race and a nation. 14 Likes |

This is what happens when churches and other religious houses have turned to a profit making organisation, if the said church was located in the north east of the country will there be a fight over who should be in charge that is if there is even any so call flock to welcome or attend church. 8 Likes |

There are not fighting because there want to serve the Lord is because of the money that particular branch of the church is generating that's why. 7 Likes |

A sad day for the Church of God in Nigeria. I am reminded of the words of Jesus in John 17 vs 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. May we remember that our unity as Christians is not in pastor or in denomination, but in our Lord, Saviour and Master Jesus Christ....who as an example for us laid down his life on the cross....as proof of his love and selflessness. We must , as Christians, reflect that aspect of the Divine Character in our day to day lives. 3 Likes |
