Auto Doctors in the house, I just bought a 2000 model VW passat,full options. There is a prompt on the dash board that says brake fault.Likewise, the battery has issues and a rewire thinks there is something taking the battery power away and even if i buy a new battery, it may still die.

Please i dont want anyhow mechanic to touch the car. i want proper machine diagnosis and i want to fix the issues asap so i can enjoy my car. what do you advice people?

There is no known automech on this site, but Siena is an engineer or master tech.

Iam just guessing from experience

You may have a short, look around for a frayed/stripped wire rubbing on vehicle chassis, or around the firewall.If voltage on battery is 12v you may had a loose terminal clamp.

Other thing might be a bad alternator.Your dash might show voltage less than 14v

If your brake fluid and light bulb is fine there is only one thing that will affect brake and battery, it will keep your brake light on when you park, it will be a brake switch a small plastic that is brakes on brake pedal.
