The Dimples I Say (short Story) by Nobody: 9:22pm On Jul 23, 2015
My straying eyes met her dimples. Few millimeters deep on her lovely skin.

I was so eager to see the face that carried the alluring dimples.
The entire Church was is in a worship session and I was in the spirit till my eyes saw an unhidden treasure, and I was taken away in the wild wind of sensual passion.

I never believed the spirits could communicate until she turned. I felt my spirit had whispered to her mind, that an hunter was waiting to sight the 'huntee'. I could feel the desperate urge building, but I was careful, not turn a victim to my prey.

She tidied her hair, so I caught a better view of her dazzling face. Her beauty was superlative. And It had the efficacy to rework a man's mind.

I was caught in the web, but deep down my soul, I Neva wished to be freed.

Romantic lines ran through my mind, I couldn't think of anything less than a date with her, at the newly built 4Star Hotel in Ikot Ekpene. I could see us lock hands together. I could see the dimples deepen as she smiled at me. I could see nothing but a perfect couple, really out to prove what love is.

I knew I couldn't miss chances. As a coauthor of the Law of first impression, I knew I had to leave rail tracks on her mind.

This was my second time at Power City international, and the church choir was seated on the two sides of the pulpit. Neatly dressed in White shirts and Navy blue suits, the choir was just glorious. She was in the second row of the choir.

Our eyes got glued and for about 5 seconds, I tried to read her mind through her eyes. But the innocency of her face, concealed her mind. I saw nothing but the mind of an Angel, a gift from heaven. I knew I had to act fast, I knew she needed the first impression. So I gave her a big grin. It wasn't really a big one, cos my teeth were still not revealed.

She smiled back, and I looked away almost instantly.

The whole church was seated, except the Pastor, the ushers, and me who was still smiling at what I couldn't tell.
