UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN POST UTME TAKES ANOTHER DIMENSION
It is no longer news that Post UTME has been the criteria most Universities
now use to screen their in-coming students and Unilorin is not an exception to
that but this year's Post UTME is expected to take another dimension as the
University may screen out some students with physical exercise. According to
one Prof of Department of Physical Education, Prof Olumide Adeshina. He says
some students are not physically fit and find it difficult to cope with the work
and stress of the school when admitted. He said only those who are fit and
meet up with the proposed UTME cut-off mark that would be allowed to take
part in the exam. The man therefore urge the aspiring students to start doing
some physical exercises like treking from Lagos to Ilorin or swimming in River
Niger twice a week in order to improve their physical fitness as marathon race,
frog jump and swimming are among those the students would be subjected to.
Just as Cyril Stober was about rounding off the NEWS, I woke up from my
dream. I don't know why I dream much of NTA these days. Sorry, I wasted your
