Throwback Sunday: "It Must Be A Northerner First Or We Employ White Man" - Ahmadu Bello (1960) Northern venerated leader, Ahmadu Bello Sarduana of Sokoto, in an interview spoke about Igbo and Nigeria. "There must be a policy of "A Northern first In Nigeria", good positions must be occupied by Northerners, if there is no qualified Northerner, Nigeria will hire a white man on contract. If the most senior is from North, appointment will be based on most senior If the most senior is from South, appointment will be based on competence/person he trusts(and the competent person is always from the North) 1 Like |
