embrace the new Ogoga, Oba Samuel Adejimi
Adu and give him total support so that his reign
will be peaceful and usher in unprecedented
developments which the community deserved.
The Deputy Governor, Dr. Kolapo Olusola gave
the charge while paying homage to the newly
installed Ogoga of Ikere-Ekiti who recently

necessary traditional rites.
Dr. Olusola said that the community could only
develop in an atmosphere free of rancour and
acrimony, calling on every member of the
community to join hands with the Oba to move
the community to the next level.
The Deputy Governor advised the monarch to
make good use of his wide experience and
connections to attract investors for the
Industrialization of the town, pointing it out
that there were many illustrious sons and
daughters of Ikere and other Ekiti towns who
could be approached to facilitate the industrial
development of Ikere community.
While congratulating the Chiefs and Indigenes of
the town for the choice of the monarch, Dr.

level playing ground in the selection, which
ultimately produced Oba Adejimi Adu as the
Ogoga.
The Deputy Governor, who was accompanied on

leaders and members of the People’s Democratic
Party in Ikere Ekiti, prayed for peace and
development of the community.
The Deputy Governor who prayed for a long

Adu commended the State government for
putting up structures that allow for
transparency in the selection of Obas in Ekiti
State.
He said that he would embrace everybody in the
community, both at home and in the Diaspora so
as to foster peace and harmony and as well
ensure the harmonization of progressive ideas
that would bring remarkable development to
Ikere-Ekiti.

Governor, his wife and the People’s Democratic
