for me i will go for J2ME anytime cos it is a full fledged programming language while flashlite is an evolved hobbyist tool |

@wale_oau There's more to flashlite than being an hobbyist tool. FlashLite is to create what we know today has rich internet applications (RIAs). The mobile app actually runs within the context of a webbrowser, thus eliminating the need to download new updates as they are written, Same way you wouldnt have to worry about updating your Yahoo! Mail Beta to the full version when it finnaly 'ships'. J2ME as said, is a full fledged programming language. But a comparison of both tools is like comparing web applications (e.g. Yahoo! Mail Beta) to desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Outlook). Any critism is welcome! |
