Polytechnic in most countries is seen as lower education that university.
Much less chance of a good job later on.

UAS also known as polytechnic offers most undergraduate programme in english and at end of ur degree u have ur B.Sc, B.Eng etc which is d same as what u will have in d university.

UAS are also more gud at practicals, So who told u dey have less chance of getting a job. Less I forget most university offers undergraduate programme in swedish and finnish language, and a few of dem dat offers it are very competitive.

Do ur research well.

What's dis one saying, we all know dat Cambridge and Oxford University are top best universities in d world and we can't compare it with UAS. Do u even know what furthering of education is?

Hello guys, Thanks for all your support. My interview was hitch free but na God get all the power. The issue of polytechnic,UAS or university should be a topic of issue here as European standard of education cant be compared to any in the part of the world we come from. And besides,research shows that Finland has the best standard of education in EU. U can always pursue ur masters in any of the univerisities after successful completion of ur undergraduate course. However,i would advise to keep searching for info as per where entrance exams would be taking place in Africa next year.

got admitted into LAPLAND UAS to study Business Information Technology, Sat for entrance exam in Netherland.

i once wrote on the other thread about this school, so u can check it out there are four path ways to enter but the best for Nigerians is having ur SAT and your waec result. its a business oriented course, good luck

Application:
An application for this programme is only possible in the winter semester. You can apply from May 2nd to July 15th for a place of study at our university. The application form is available in the application period on our website:

Applicants, who are interested in studying International Retail Management at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and didn’t receive their school leaving certificates in Germany, have to apply directly until July 15th at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt. A preliminary inspection documentation through uni-assist isn’t required. We recommend to send your application until June 15th to university, so our stuff has sufficient time to check your application.

Specifics at the evaluation of certificates through Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt:
1. Application for admission in a study programme at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt with information regarding nationality and study programme, you are interested in
2. CV in tabulary form.
3. School certificate in foreign language in Original or legally attested form, also in legally attested German translation by a official sworn translater from Germany or german-spreaking foreign country

4. Attestation about the successful participation at a university entrance examination, if such an exam is required by your country. Applicants from China, Mongolia and Vietnam need to have their university access qualifications and academic proof of performance reviewed and recognised by the Academic auditing office (Akademische Prüfstelle; APS) in their home country first. The procedure may differ depending on whether you are still in your home country or already in Germany. For precise information on this, see the relevant APS.
5. Documents about startet study programmes in your home country or in Germany in Original or legally attested copy
6. Copy of your identity card or passport
7. Proof of possible changing of name (copy of the certificate of marriage), if your school leaving certificates are not issued on your current name
The proof of previous education of the applicants for the bachelor's course of studies in International Retail Management in English-language is reviewed by the University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt. Please add your documents directly to the application. An application through uni-assist is not required.

Language Requirements:
The study programme is taught in English. Therefore we require good knowledge of English, recommended by a certification of English (TOEFL/IELTS). After the first semster students will have to document knowledge of the German language, level A1 Goethe Institute.

Internship contract:

Hi guys, tanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread by asking question and by droping answer that can help others in 1 way or the other. Bt I got a problem here, I'm still on the run too for Finland issue. I want to go 4 BscBA. Bt the issue of transcript for secondary schl level is my problem. I only kn that transcripts is 4 primary and higher institution bt I went to my secondary schl to get it and they told me that, they's no transcript 4 secondary schl. Plss if anyone have got his/her own, I wll like to kn hw they got it. Tnks
