Manchester United’s record signing Angel Di Maria appears to be very close to joining PSG.

The 27-year-old Argentine winger did not join the Manchester United squad on their pre-season tour of America and Louis van Gaal is claiming to have no idea where he is.

Dutch manager Louis van Gaal spoke to the press after last night’s 2-0 defeat to PSG and told reporters that he has no idea where Angel Di Maria is.

talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil posted a picture on Twitter of “Missing” Angel Di Maria mock-up posters which have supposedly been spotted around Manchester.

“He has a distinctive rodent-esque face and could possibly be somewhere in France “.

Signed from Real Madrid for £59.7m last summer, Di Maria is expected to be moved on after a disappointing first season in the Premier League.

Whether the posters were actually spotted around Manchester or just in talkSPORT’s studios is another matter altogether.
