Number 1 is correct being that 'would rather' also means 'prefer' i.e 'I prefer you seek him yourself.'
Number 2 is wrong because of its objection to grammar, it is; no sooner had he gone than I ate.
Number 3 is very wrong, it is, he has become worse than before or his condition is now worse.
Number 4. Is slightly wrong because of incomplete comparison, it shld be, what is the most correct way to dispose off your refuse.
