seriously guys, what does it mean to catch the spirit, another day of the Pentecost 

2 things.

1. There is no such thing as "catching the spirit" in the bible. In a few situations where people were 'filled' with the spirit, there were no such shenanigans described going on as with the clowns in the above clips.

2. Where the spirit of God is there is order, unity, peace and joy (see 1 Cor 14) - none of the above clips fulfill those requirements so I wouldn't necessarily call them "churches". Most of these kinds of behaviour are cultural/traditional practices that have been brought into the 'church'.

A pre requisite to receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit is being born again.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Like the above passage says,you need to repent from your sins i'e turn away/abstain from your sins.this is only made possible by believing in the good news that Christ Jesus died to save you from these sins.To deliver you from sin and from the judgement of God coming.Repent and be baptised in water(another important thing) and you can receive the Holy ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

You need 5 keys to getting filled with the holyspirit.
1. You must be born again.let me explain how it is done.

a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner

b.Repent of you sins.

c. Confess you sins and accept Jesus as your lord and personal saviour.

d.Receive Jesus as your lord and personal saviour.

2.The second step to receiving the infilling of the holyspirit is to have a Strong desire to be filled.That means you must thirst for it.

3.You must live a clean life. The reason is that the holy spirit does not live in a dirty vessel.

4.You must ask God to fill you by faith- that is you must pray to God to fill you.

5.Finally, you must believe you have been filled.
Then it is in the hand of God to fill you.

The fruits of a filled person are as follows:

1. speaking with new tongue- that is unknown language given to you by God.

2.You will have passion for souls( desire to preach the gospel to all)

3.You will have a burning desire to study the word of God and to attend church fellowship regularly.

4. You will bear the fruits of the spirit, according to Gal.5:22-24
