No one should touch that car door handles since glass was not shattered, it means the criminals opened before firing so police forensic department should be drafted to the crime scene

Its obvious he was shot from the passengers door side as the door is ajar or he could have been shot through d glass and somebody later opened the door to check on him. I can see it was a shot to the face.

I think the op should be arrested first. The man at the background is not yet aware of what's happening. The op is either the first witness or the culprit.
How come he was able to take such a close shot without a crowd there? I suspect him.

You people just talk anyhow. Is there any government or law enforcement in the world that can stop random acts of violence. Assasinations take place everywhere. These often result from private dealings to which the public oft has no idea whatsoever. Law enforcement and government can only react to these. They cannot enter into the minds of would be assasins or their potential victims.

you won't blame the guy standing there. The fear of naija police false accusations is the reason no one wanna near the corpse. Except the family of the deceased will come there at the scene. The police will have to come to the scene first before anything can be done.

Even in sane, developed societies if the person looks dead it no longer a paramedic but a police case and interfering with the crime scene thoughtless of touching the corpse could land one in police trouble even if they are relations. The police comes first for any deceased under suspicious circumstances. Standing aloof is not wrong, it is right.

Besides fear of Nigerian police, its not proper and even a criminal offence to tamper with d corpse of a person suspected to have been murdered.
This is to avoid tampering with evidence(exhibits, fingerprints, position of the corpse,bullet/weapon trajectory etc).
However,I do agree that d overriding reason in that of Nigeria is to avoid police wahala, but everywhere in the civilized world, its only the forensic unit of the police, not even any police man that is authorised to touch any part of the murder scene.

Correct. Its not fear. It is the right thing to do. As long as the victim is not alive he should not be touched and the surrounding area secured.

What would you have him do? You just read that they shot him dead. Its the work of the police to investigate. Its clearly a homicide.

And play clean, fair and square to get a peaceful night sleep. Walk away if not satisfied. Stay away from greed and unnecessary disputings. Do productive work and shun the culture of 'dealings', rent seeking and middle meddlesomeness. If threatened for doing right hand over all evidence to the police and go public.

Damn. No words. A couple of disturbing things worth noting.
I have discovered Nigerians would rather leave people to die by taking pictures, rather than calling the police or the ambulance. This guy's life might have been saved if proper actions were taken by getting him to the hospital on time.
Nigeria needs to do biometric population census on every citizens in Nigeria and then invest on forensic science to help with the investigation of some of these crimes.
Every car must be properly registered with the state government, with the details showing the owner of the vehicle as well as their address so that people can be better traced. I am sure there is a cctv in the area to capture the car's plate number
yea? Really? All this technology in nigeria? You wish! Even if all this techs. Were available nigerians will still! Sabotage it, because every nigerian is corrupt

Do not think you know too much.

When the Police arrives the scene and sees you with the corpse, you will be arrested..

So his duty is to call the cops. He may be the station manager. Police may still question him for what he knows about the incident. .

That's how the law works..

The police need to find out who his enemies are, they should start with his "business associates" and then move on to his relatives.

I have just been sitting here and staring at this picture, zooming in and out and I must say that whoever shot this guy dead did not chase him.

I can deduce that either the person was already a passenger and had his getaway bike or vehicle close by or the driver of the vehicle knew him. I say this because of the way the car is parked. It was carefully parked and not like someone in a hurry...wheels straight! Plus the killing looks too clean.

The vehicle owner probably rolled down the passenger window for the killer and the killer leaned in and gave a precise shot....thats one theory... another theory is that the killer was already a passenger and made the driver go to that location since he had a quick escape arranged over there. Plus the choice of day being sunday was well scripted since most roads are without traffic.

Gosh I wish I had a private investogation company. Nigeria needs help.
