The leader of Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau is missing in a new video released by the sect today August 3rd. The 8 minutes video shows an unidentified young man speaking in the name of the Islamic State in West Africa and calling on people to be patient:.

“We are still present everywhere we had been before.”. he said
The video showed the sect members attacking a security checkpoint, seizing weapons, and slitting the throat of a man dressed in police uniform.

I do believe that there's an heirarchy in that sect. When one commander dies,another is replaced immediately,hence the belief that Shekau never dies. I think Shekau is just an official name for their commanders,and I think the character named Shekau is not real as people think,it maybe possible for him to use a silicon or real flesh masks,making it hard to figure him out.
