The Nigerian music Industry faces the problem of originality. Someone picks up a style, others follow suit. But there are some musicians that naturally do sound alike. The question goes thus: "Can there be two originals?".
(1.) 2face and Joel: These two share almost everything in common, from their voice to their looks and even their dress sense. Except that Joel isn't known for having lot of baby mamas. They had to distinguish their peculiarity by releasing a single together titled "hold on" after much controversy.
(2.) Dbanj and Durella: The koko master and the zanga master share many things in common from the use of new strange street slangs in their music to shouting and trying to sing at the same time. Also, this two did a song to establish their peculiarity sometime ago.
(3.) 9ice and Isolate: You need good ears working at a maximum level to differentiate these guys. It is said that they happen to sound alike due to the fact that they come from the same hometown which is Ogbomosho. Coincidentally, the both of them are getting extinct nowadays.
My advice to these music artistes is to confirm if there have been no away goal from a number 9 striker.
