INEC REGISTERS DEMOCRATIC PEOPLES CONGRESS

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has approved the registration of a new party entitled: ‘Democratic Peoples Congress’ (DPC), bringing the number of registered parties in the country to 29.

The approval came at the end of Commission’s meeting, held on Friday 19th June, 2015.

In a letter addressed to the National Chairman of the party, signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs. Augusta C. Ogakwu, the party Constitution, Manifesto, Logo/flag and the list of the National Executive Officers were also approved.

The letter also stated that the certificate of registration would be issued in due course.
