Sometimes when I remember some stupid things I did during my childhood days, all I do is smile.

I was 6yrs old then when my Aunty visited us. when she was about to travel back to lagos , i insisted she takes me with her to spend the holidays with her and her newly wedded husband. When we got to their house then in lagos, I was given a separate room to stay alone. I was a scary sissy then, in the sense that whenever I am alone in a room at night, I always have this feeling that a boggy man is hiding under my bed, or inside the wardrobe waiting for me to close my eyes so he could catch me. In my house then, I have my own room, but I never sleep in it; normally I use to keep my stuffs there; but in the night i sleep in my mum's room.

Few minutes after my Aunty left me in the room alone to join her husband in their room, I went knocking on their door. When she opened the door, I told her I was scared and wants to sleep with them in their room. She showed me a space in the rug where I can lie down , as I lay down, she wanted to switch off the light, and I told her to leave the light on. And she did. In the middle of the night, I was woken up by a tiny cry-like noise, like someone was being strangled. I raised my head , the room was dark ( I guessed my Aunty later switched off the light when she noticed I had slept off) . As the noise persisted , in my mind I was like "OMG! The boggy man is hurting my Aunty and her hubby", I rushed up and switched on the light." Damn! There is my Aunty's hubby right on top of her, he rowed down , and draw the blanket up to cover their unclothedness. I was just there staring at them, trying to understand what is going on. When I couldn't comprehend, I touched my Aunty on her feet and asked her " why are you crying? Did uncle beat you? Sorry ok ". Neither my Aunty nor her hubby uttered a word to me, they were just their motionless, and that even made things worst for me. I couldn't sleep throughout the night, I was in a corner of the room crying and the same time murmuring "I want to go home". It was a confused scary experience for me.

Now, that am all grown up, anytime I remember this incident I feel bad. They must have missed themselves so much and I messed up their romantic night with my naivety . Oh! Fork me! What da heck was I thinking? I deserve a hard knock on my head...dammit grin

Feel free to add yours....

Hahahahahahahaha...i had a similar experience

I remember when one of my aunt got married,i was the escort that went with her,i was only 6 then, they lived in a room and parlour apartment,so when it was night the first day,a mattress was brought out to the parlour for me to sleep on,during the night I woke up to carry out my usual practice of urinating, then I heard some whispers and it was my aunty's voice, saying 'odun mi ooo.......(its paining me)...stop...stop...stop....continuously
I just laid down back, and kept the urine till morning, same thing happened the next day,and for 5 days,so I taught my aunty's husand beats her every night, that weekend I asked to be taken back home and immediately I got home in front of everybody,i reported my aunty's husband to my mum and asked her to warn him to stop beating her......everybody laffed, and I wondered the cause of the laughter, anyway my mum warned him and I was happy...it was years later I got to understand what really happened....hahahah ahahaha
