SS has very rich but different and distinct cultural xteristics. I lived in Delta state for over ten years joggling between Warri and Asaba and all the towns/cities between them. Been to Calabar and PH on few occasions too. Those days were good indeed.

Originating from the prestigious Delta state. But other SS tribes have their own versions, we call it abak in Akwa/Cross. Typical banga is made with purely seafood meat. Fresh fish, prawns, shrimps, periwinkles, etc. Enjoy!

The last time I was in Asaba, the Igbo Deltans wore bowler hats and all like other SS people although they also wear Igbo caps too. They also love fish too and they enjoy banga and starch like the average Deltan.

There's nothing like 'south south' outside of Igbophobia and petropolitics. An Igbo person has more in common with an Ibibio than an Itsekiri ever can. South south is not a culture or heritage, it's geopolitics. That's why your thread is being hated on by Igbo people and ignored by so called south south people.

Igbo is not a tribe rather an ethnic group whose membership is dependent on common interest which intermarriage bonds and common ancestry (most times and not always).

Having said that, how is south-south intermarriage compared to southwest or southeast?

If intermarriages between different tribes that make up South-south are not a priority over others then it wouldn't and doesn't exist as a people rather it's only a geographical expression.
