In a story that is developing as a big land scam and a contempt of court,Bavis Investment Ltd,a company owned by a serving senator,Engr Barnabas Gamade is been fingered in a big land fraud.

Speaking to reporters,Barr Desmond Okeme the company lawyer of Halims International Homes Ltd,a land developing company and a financier said that his client went into agreement with Bavis Investment Ltd on a plot of land located at plot 676,B13, Gaduwa district of Abuja on an arrangement of 35% and 65% ownership ratio upon full development.

Haven signed a legally binding agreement, Senator Gamade's company is now making a U-turn claiming they have gotten a better deal elsewhere.

With every effort to get them to honour the agreement failed,the land developing company resorted to seeking justice in court. The company filed for injunction before Justice Tahaba of the High Court of FCT but as at the time of filing this report,Bavis Investment Ltd has gone ahead to demolish 8units of building being erected with value at about N140million in disobedience of court order to stay off every action on the land.

With the change matra of the present Federal government and the charge to the judicial system to be the last resort of the common man, its remains to be seen how this case of Gamade proving to be larger than the law will span out in the coming days.

Halims International Homes Ltd is soaring on the case that they have fulfilled all obligations to every party involved and all effort to get Mr Vandefan Gamade,the MD of Bavis Investment Ltd to get his side of the story did not pull through.
