I am in stream one. We have been doing the exercises for the executive Traineeship position. I did d test, group discussion, interview, I psychometric test and another interview which I don't know why. I have no relevant experience ooooooooo. Just 7months experience in an Electricity Distribution Company. I am a Chemical Engineering graduate. Well, I will go there on Monday most likely. I just pray and hope it's for the same position

But if @Bukkyche is for real then the number called for the Interview after the psychometric Test must be either very few or not on Nairaland.com or @Bukkyche has been called for another Job position or he is not being real with us. My Question when did this interview after psychometric Test hold and why was it made so discrete that no body but only @Bukkyche heard about it, I smell something fishy guys

I am a"he" not a "she". Well, I am thinking the position is different. I wouldnt know Until I see d offer letter. I wonder why some people are too ridiculous. For someone to think I would joke with this Dangote job stuff is really amazing. U think I have not been worried myself?? As for my application status, it's still reading "under review".

Hmmm..... I'm with d first stream as well... Applied for the executive role of August publication. Also passed through all four stages of interview like d others.... To the best of my knowledge, all of the electrical engrs like myself im in touch with are still awaiting offers... And bukky just just clearly defined himself as a Chem Engr. I think... Maybe the offer is coming in departmentally.....

Hello people I know @Bukkyche very well he is a friend and he has just confirmed to me that he was interviewed again last week that's another strictly technical interview after the psychometric Test and he applied for only the August batch Executive Trainee Programme and he said that they where ten of them that were invited and not all of the. were chemical engineers, some were petroleum, geology, and statistics that's the latest state of things . some one has gotten an employment offer letter ✉, is either they are giving it out in batches of ten or they selected 10 people from a pool of 1000 or more. God is faithful

my study of the recruitment process so far shows DAT Dangote is recruiting for the refinery in two forms, one is aptitude, psychometry, interview based which I believe is for freshers and graduates with less Dan one experience , the other method is CV based for graduates with abt 1,2 or 3 years experience.

it seems after the apt test and other stages dey still reviewed some cv's and found dem worthy of the CV based process, as in the case of bukkyche who did apt test and the other stages and still got an invite to be interviewed again.

I took out time to look at some already employed management trainee for the dangote refinery and noticed DAT most of them have at least 2 years experience and masters. so maybe Dangote is lookin at mixing mildly experienced guys with little or no experience guys to blend together in the programme.

I had my second interview(and I pray is d last) this week with dem and I urge everyone to take a chill pill, what is yours is yours, if u are destined for this job, nothing can stop u.

So what category of employment does your beloved friend @Bukkyche fall in? I'm asking because someone mentioned something about interview hire thru CV based contents. Let me state I know two process Engrs. with about three years work experience, they are smart and know their stuff WELL.......only looking to switch jobs from contract employment to full staff employment shud the pay be worth it. They both did the psychometric test and are yet to be contacted. So, this isn't about relevant experience @all is it

Yeah. I have finally gone and come back. Lemme ease the tension
I was given just a printed copy of the offer to go through and say if I am comfortable with it or not. I read it and later gave it back to him after affirming to its content. He took it and then printed an intro letter for my medicals. I took d letter to d stated hospital and did my medicals. Already I was told that I would be contacted as soon as d medical result is out for my documentation. I will equally be told when to resume during d documentation
As for the offer, mine is for fertilizer. Yeah, I asked d man "why fertilizer instead of refinery" he said I should even be happy God has given me sth. That he doesnt know why ppl are bent on the Refinery that they dnt know if it will start next year. The way he said it made not to ask further. That they have Refinery and Petrochemical of which fertilizer falls under the latter.
I believe others would be for Refinery but I doubt if they will be called this year for medicals and others (my thought though).
