The picture is real but let me also be quick to point out that the hostels are grossly over crowded and facilities are hardly maintained especially when it concerns students,lecturers facilities are often maintained. However there is a new vice chancellor in the person of Prof N E S Lale who is less than 4 weeks in office he will handle this issue promptly because students welfare is top on his agenda. Also the students unions should be more proactive in uniport and not self serving, before this facilities go so bad they should have brought it to the notice of the Vice Chancellors office or DVC Administration.
